We develop in leading-edge technologies and believe in agile development.
Our software stack is MySQL/RDS, Redis/Elasticache, Solr/Lucene/CloudSearch, node.js, Ruby on Rails, web sockets, nginx, HTML5, Angular.js, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac.
Our deployment environment is Amazon AWS: Opsware/Chef controlling EC2 with Linux virtual machines and related services and S3.
- Take ownership of our production environment, its operation and all deployments.
- Ensure adequate testing of our releases.
- Develop and enhance and our automated tests and operations tools and scripts.
- Be first line response to production issues – troubleshooting and solving independently as much as possible,
but also knowing when and with whom to consult when needed.
- Work closely with our CTO and the rest of our development team to extend our automated test suite.
- Manual testing of the application.
- Manage our configuration management and issue tracking.
- Develop OpsWorks Chef and shell scripts.
- Package and test builds for deployment.
- Roll-out new product releases.
- Handle any alerts from the production system.
- Use monitoring to tune our application in production.

We are looking for a smart adaptable engineer to join our small, but talented, team. We care more about the right team fit, passion for

- Experience in test automation, acceptance testing, load testing, and creating test scripts.
- Good knowledge of version control systems (Git, Perforce, SVN, etc.), software build tools, and continuous integration (Jenkins).
- Experience deploying a SaaS application on a cloud platform (EC2, Rackspace Open Cloud, etc.), and cloud automation tools (Chef, Puppet).
- Extensive experience programming shell scripts and at least one other major scripting language.
- Experience monitoring system health & analyzing log files.
- Understanding of network configuration.
- Good at solving problems and thinking creatively.
